Title: Looking for help finding aftermarket parts
Post by bobthekerr on 08/14/14 at 17:17:12

Interested in front and rear pegs, mirrors, backrest, handlebars, turn signal both front and rear. Small stuff like that.

Sites ask for your bike make year and model, and then prioritize your results, but only some offer lists of what is fitable,

Any links or help would be awesome!

Thanks! :)

You are not going to have much luck using the "fitment" features on most websites.  The Suzuki Savage is a low production, low profit motorcycle that is just barely on anybody's radar screen.  When you do use the "fit my bike" feature you will get a few brake pads, oil filter, clutch discs or parts that the manufacturer has linked to the part for the distributor/retailer.

You most likely will need to use the search function on this site, or go to the Bike Builds in the Rubber Side Down section to see what others have done.  Some Harley pegs can be used on the font with a little bit of work, the handlebars are 1" and you will have to drill holes for the electric controls/throttle to fit in, only Corbin makes a bolt on seat so you will either have to use that or modify another seat model to fit.  If you are customizing this bike...most of it is custom work.....not much in the way of dedicated Savage Bolt-On.

Yeah, I have come to realize this over the last couple weeks of searching; was just making sure there wasn't a secret site I was missing ;) J&P seems to be the best; of course, like you said, most things will require some customization.

Thanks!

Yep, your best bet BY FAR is to spend time reading what others have done here to see what they used and how they made it work.  The best stuff you will see is custom made by some very talented people.  Dave is a prime example, and you should read the build project thread on his bike if you have not done so already.  He does outstanding work.  His bike is beautiful as you can see and RUNS too.
