Title: Job promotion, no more nights Post by kimchris1 on 08/12/14 at 20:24:24 Finally after almost 3 years of nights, I am going to days... I am sooo excited. Schedule is 7-4 a.m. Mon thru Fri. Weekends off. Their will be a week of nights now and then, yet not every week. I will finally get some much needed rest. So will do more day riding and less night riding. I have about 3 more weeks of nights before the new position starts. Looking forward to this as have been working towards this for awhile.. :) kim |

Title: Re: Job promotion, no more nights Post by gizzo on 08/13/14 at 22:07:46 Good for you, kim. It's great when you get recognised for your hard work by getting what you want. I'd pitch a fit if I got taken off nights, though. I'd lose my 20% after 7pm loading, paid meal breaks, 2 months annual leave and couch time. I'm working 7 nights a fortnight, 12 hr shifts. I'd hate to go back to the real world. |

Title: Re: Job promotion, no more nights Post by kimchris1 on 08/14/14 at 09:29:05 Ok so evidently you guys do pay attention to my posts after all. Hrs will be 7a.m. to 4 p.m. I will lose .50 per hr going off nights, yet yearly evaluation has that covered.. ;) And it is ok as I will gain so much more from being on days. Oh and Bot is right, I have been on nights way too long. Party in the house anyone? Hugs, kim & Genie |
Title: Re: Job promotion, no more nights Post by Trippah on 08/15/14 at 20:50:46 Congrats, working nights can be fun for a while but it really isn't all that good for your health. Watch the black ice in the early hours and enjoy the nights the way they should be. :D :D :D |
