Title: My new seat...
Post by damiancds on 07/31/14 at 17:13:04

So, I've been on the quest for a better seat as I'm sure many of you have. So, I've tried the stock, I've tried the stock with extra padding and gel. This seat seems to be the most comfortable, where I'm able to do at least 100 miles at a time (haven't been on a longer drive yet), where I would feel it at 50 miles before.

So without further adieu...

Well, that's a serious seat... don't quite match the pillion though...
Any future plans to make a passenger more comfy?...

I've thought about a seat like that

Well......I am thinking this post should be moved to the "HUMOR" thread. ;D

I would be willing to bet, that whatever that seat was on before - required the operator to sit for hours and hours at a time.

I like it. You can get those seats brand new from Tractor Supply Company all day long, 7 days a week. Grab some Rotella and tractor paints while there, maybe grab a few spare bulbs for your turn signals and taillight. Good place to get tube sealants as well.

That is awesome! Did you take pictures of the install? Did the springs come with it? How difficult was it to fit it? Any chopping and welding involved?

     Love It  !!!! :D

Am familiar, with that style seat, just not on a MC.

A few wore out horse blankets, couple pieces of leather,
(crudely cut to shape)
With a few rivets on the edges, to hold it all together.
Will make it a bit more comfortable.
