Title: Question about wrapping header and exhaust pipe
Post by Silverhippi on 07/22/14 at 19:28:49

Hey,

I've read the arguments for and against insulating the exhaust gases in the pipes.

My question is much simpler, Does wrapping the pipes quiet down the noise level of the exhaust?

Thanks!

OK, I'll bite.

Silverhippi,
What are, the pros/cons, for wrapping the Exhaust?
I did a search on this site, using various 'words', could not find anything.
Is their another site/place, that gives more information?

I totally agree with, Serowbot, in that any kind of, 'wrapping' will not change sound.

I believe, through experience, it's what is 'inside' that counts.
