I was a little surprised about the crash record of the Rebel. Considering its popularity with new riders, I thought it would be one that crashed a little more. It could be they're low speed and don't get reported that much. |

In WA, full coverage on a modified 98 LS650 was $86 for the year. Here in TN, a mostly stock 2003 LS650 runs $164 for the exact same coverage. Insured as a "recreational" motorcycle... I "recreate" a lot, hit 5000 miles in 3 months... ;D |

I inadvertently left my garage door open one night not long ago, the key was in the S40 parked just inside. Next morning, wife shouts "You screwed up and left the garage door open all night!". I KNEW the bike was gone. Nope. Still there, keys, tool bag, full tank and ready to go, in plain sight from the street. Funny, because our neighbor lady's daughter had a $2000 Specialized Tri-Bike. She was mowing grass in back one afternoon, left the garage open, and BINGO - bike disappeared! I guess we thumpers just don't rate. |
