Title: Kawasaki 650 twin Post by MMRanch on 07/14/14 at 11:20:56 Look what I found on Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/251586381863?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Don't see many of these: W650. I've allready got three bikes ... a fourth one would make me a collector I think ? ;D |

Title: Re: Kawasaki 650 twin Post by Trippah on 07/14/14 at 13:13:03 Was already drooling over this bike because of a thread on wildguzzzi. When Oh when will I win the lottery to I can start adding bikes. :'( :'( :'( |
Title: Re: Kawasaki 650 twin Post by Dave on 07/14/14 at 13:23:08 MM. If you bought this - You would have to wash and wax it occasionally. Or....you could leave it with me for the summer months....and I could clean it for you. Dave |
Title: Re: Kawasaki 650 twin Post by LANCER on 07/14/14 at 16:38:44 I would help babysit the little thing. Feed it. Change it. Take it out for nature rides. You know, treat it like my own. ;) 8-) |
Title: Re: Kawasaki 650 twin Post by MMRanch on 07/18/14 at 08:23:00 Wow You fellers are true friends ! 8-) But keeping peace with the wife is worth more than having another bike! The 17 year old I sold my GN125 to last summer is ready for a bigger machine so he wants to sell the GN125 back to me so I'm getting another bike anyway ( and mabby a young feller to take on rides with us some day ! ). :-? The W650 is up to $2,550 now and not much time left ! :-/ |
Title: Re: Kawasaki 650 twin Post by PerrydaSavage on 07/19/14 at 02:04:13 One of my all-time fave Bikes! Wish Kawasaki would bring the W800 to North America ... have read nothing but good about them ... |
Title: Re: Kawasaki 650 twin Post by jcstokes on 07/19/14 at 04:03:54 Strange, we can buy them here for $NZ13999, but it's still 80 or so per cent dearer than an S40 |
Title: Re: Kawasaki 650 twin Post by justin_o_guy2 on 07/19/14 at 06:09:50 In my opinion, that 650is a $4,000.00 or $4500.00 bike. They are very well built and last very long.Maintenance time versus run time is much lower than the Savage. It's chain drive and comes with all the time and cost of a chain, but it doesn't get gravel holes and screech,so,there is a trade off there.. |
Title: Re: Kawasaki 650 twin Post by jcstokes on 07/19/14 at 22:24:14 Again, it's probably irrelevant to US/Canadians, but a comparison of the W800 and the Yamaha Bolt would be interesting. The base Bolt is the same price as the W800 here, I think. |
Title: Re: Kawasaki 650 twin Post by PerrydaSavage on 07/20/14 at 01:00:26 Recenlty rode a friend's Bolt R-Spec ... had to pry me off of it ... nicest Bike I have ever ridden (and I've ridden lots of different Bikes) ... |
