LalaLand is also known as Greater Los Angeles, with about 18-20 million people. We have about 4 murders a day -- why are they making it a big deal? |

Title: Re: pasadena shootings Post by Trippah on 07/13/14 at 18:49:15 Versy - been in Syracuse most of the time these past two years granddadding it. Syracuse's nickname is SALT CITY and I feel it being rubbed into my 9 months of snow non riding wounds... :D :D :D :D I hear that the earthquakes make the bike engine vibration even more pronounced. |
Title: Re: pasadena shootings Post by verslagen1 on 07/13/14 at 19:14:34 Used to work with a guy from back east. at a place right next to a major train track. several times a day a big freight train would go by. and he'd freak out every time... earthquake? naw, eq's are less than a minute, trains are more. didn't seem to calm him. ;D |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vg0fqGEA4MI I am about 3 miles west of the Newport-Inglewood Fault, which some say it can put out a 7+ quake. Which is respectable, but not big enough to flatten my house. Earthquakes are quickly done, and all your stuff is still here, not like hurricanes and tornadoes that blow your stuff miles away. But I like L.A.. About 17 years ago I had a heart attack. I called 911 and in less than three minutes I was on the gurney with a team of EMTs treating me. About 8 years ago I left home on the Savage and the clutch cable snapped, which makes starting/stopping awkward. Circled back home, checked Internet for Suzuki Dealers. Called first dealer, no clutch cable in stock. Second dealer, no clutch cable in stock. Third dealer had one in stock, 5 miles from the house, get the cable and swap it and I am back on the road in less than an hour. I have about 20 Suzuki motorcycle dealers within 30 miles from the house. |
