Title: Re: Versy Post by Dave on 07/04/14 at 15:18:44 Your mileage may vary.....it is the opinion of this forum that the number of heat cycles are a big factor. Someone that takes long rides after starting the bike up will get more mileage on the cam chain than someone that takes 10 minute rides around town. I believe 12,000 miles is a common number where you should consider opening up the clutch cover to take a look - but it really does depend on how the bike was ridden. Dave |
