I welded two trailer fenders together for my bobber project.
E bay is littered with ABS plastic small  ribbed bobber fender that look great and for under 25$.

Harley Davidson 1970-84 FL Shovelhead rear fender...

Old pic, hasn't looked like that in 4 years.

Currently still trying to finish the rewiring. Tank is a year unknown from a junkyard, HD fender, now has a VN800A 2 up seat that will get swapped for a sprung solo and rigid frame conversion, yep that is a drum front wheel, 6 inch dogbone risers, FL touring bar, Indian Chief style saddlebag set and tool roll...http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/y490/mphsgal/LISA-HP/Photos/Savage/bigbags_zps78b2dfad.jpg

Have fun with your mods. Stock is so far beyond dull it isn't even remotely entertaining.

You need at least 2 styles anyway...

The orange/cream is the 50s style "Pokey", the little black one is "Sam", now in "police mode"...
http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/y490/mphsgal/Jeffs%20pix/Sam/sam_left_zps56cde95d.jpg...since it reminds me of the small bikes used by the national police when I was living in Spain. I do have a pedestrian slicer front fender plate for it, but I'm far too lazy to actually install it...
