Title: Connectet jumpcables the wrong way
Post by DangMan on 06/29/14 at 07:31:52

Today the savage vas dead.. because stupid me forgot the key in the egnition...... I could kick myself

But to get it going I would use a car battery and some jumper cables, but the battery was dirty so i dusted it of and found what i belived to be the negative...... but it was not. So I connected the jumper cables the wrong way + to -.
Now the savage is all dead, and before I start tearing the electrics apart ! Have anyone done this and what was the result ! Im afraid this will cost me lots of $$$

I could kick myself REALY hard..........

Now I will go out and mow the lawn and pout all the way !

First off.Check your fuses. There are 2 of them under the right side(brake side) of the seat.Chances are they are blown.Reconnect cabled the right way and try it.If you jump with a car battery,DO NOT have the car running.Puts too many amps into the system.
