The IRS is claiming the Lois Lerner emails that would incriminate the Obama (mis)-administration were lost when a failed hard drive was destroyed. These missing emails will prove that the Obama (mis)-administration was directly involved in the harassment of independent groups that Obama considered political enemies.

Most people know that emails aren’t saved on a hard drive. Emails are saved at the server. You can read your emails on a computer, then use another computer to read the same emails.

It now has been revealed that the IRS had hired a company called Sonasoft to achieve its emails.

If the Obama claimed ”most honest and transparent” administration ever lied about this, how can anybody believe anything they say?

Why is the first place did she ever evoke the 5th, of she had nothing to hide?
Now the data that could make the repubs look look witch hunters, if produced, corroborating the story she WON'T tell under oath.....
is mistakenly destroyed, uh.....yeah, makes sense if you have blinders on.

not saying I know jack diddelly about their circumstance,
but my emails are archived locally, both msoffice and lotusnotes you archive locally.
and given how wonderfully the obamacare website worked...
if the offsite archive worked as well, it now wonder her old archive wasn't rolled in.
But, this just shows you how bright the O admin is... emails? really? anything potentially embarrassing should be verbal.

I have been enjoying the circus of the senate investigation of the IRS. Though I feel it too will be yesterdsays news all too soon. The dems will allow the reps to get some free shots and press.. as payment for their sins in squashing the tea party.. a group that both the dems and repugs hate.

The IRS coverup is technically complete, but selling of it is a farce. How wonderful it would be if there was a law passed that said if a taxpayers hard drive crashed ... no foul no taxes owed. Yeah... one can dream.

The IRScancelled the contract w/ the archiving company right after the so called hard drive crash. That way the archiving com[any would ditch them,since they were no longer under contract to hold them. Nothing to see here, folks, move along. No one is calling me a Speercee Theerist on this one..even the most brain dead, gut hooked bammybot can see this one,,

Yeah, I refuse to believe the Gov. contracted a company and did not require them to "backup" all information. I know for a fact as a contractor and former DOD employee that ALL information is backed up at least once and 90% of the time to a THIRD source, be it paper or another drive.
Yeah.... info lost due to hard drive failure...smh... ya won't convince me on that one.

The senator was right when he said "I don't believe ... No one believes you".

Emails can be handled in many ways... from always sitting ont he server ( most common) to being DL to the PC. But in all cases (government) the back is done at the server... NOT at the PC. Now teh claim is not that backup were not made... but that the backups ( as usual) were recycled. That could be true .., but the timeing would HAVE to be that they were recycled on purpose just so they would not have to be turned in. The IRS is trying to have it both ways.
Firstly when a HDD dies its like 1 day to slap a new one in, and re-image from backups. From that point on the fact that the HDD died is meaningless the data was put back day one.
Secondly, while everyone employs at least the "grandfather, father son" there are generally multiple iterations of that method... ie three sets of three.

This all come from 27 years work in state employment.
