Title: Ram Mount for Motorcycle clamps Post by Joe F on 06/21/14 at 03:57:48 I'v been looking for a way to mount a phone or small Pelican box on my handlebars. The S4 doesn't have a lot of space on the handlebars for accessories. Ram makes a mount that replaces one of the handlebar clamp bolts. http://www.rammount.com/NewProducts/MotorcycleClampMount/tabid/2038/Default.aspx It requires M8 handlebar bolts. Has anyone tried this? |

Title: Re: Ram Mount for Motorcycle clamps Post by Fishbulb on 06/21/14 at 20:39:57 And M8 is the correct thread? I have been eyeing up ram mounts for the same reasons, been on the fence about the 'clamp on' style vs. the bolt replacements. Greg - where in SE PA you roaming? I am around the top of DE to around Exton... Thanks! Jac |
Title: Re: Ram Mount for Motorcycle clamps Post by Greg on 06/22/14 at 06:45:30 Yes, the M8 fit perfectly. I went through all the clamp on ones and ended up with this setup. I am in the Lancaster/Reading area. I get down to York quite often. You're not too far. Perhaps we can meetup one day. |
