Being a newbie with limited mechanical skills, I celebrate small victories like today's. Thanks to the instruction found on this forum I was able to change out the stock petcock for a Raptor in about 20 minutes. I did so without skinning my knuckles and I didn’t even have to break out my best curse words :)

Thanks again to everyone who contributes great information and advice on the forum. Greatly appreciated.

If you didn't skin your knuckles you didn't do it right, sorry. :(

Put the old one back in and try again. ;)

Congratz!

To be sure to block off the vaccum to the carb. Then go go do 60MPH for 30 minutes.. world of difference!
