Title: front wheel hub
Post by Jeff71 on 06/04/14 at 18:05:41

Gang,
Can you file off the flashing and words on the front hub? Why is there a small point over one of the brake rotor mounts? Can it be removed? Thanks!
Jeff

If I'm understanding correctly... Dave, smoothed his hub out real nice...
So, yeah,.. you can smooth that...
I'm not sure what you are referring to with the point on the BRM's...

I bet Dave will know...
Dave?...   Dave?...

PS... I'm mostly posting to give a bump...
Bump!... ;D...

Here I am.

Yep, I stripped the clear coat, filed and sanded off the casting marks, and buffed everything all nice and shiny.

Works great....as long as you don't let your bike sit outside in the rain and like to polish every once in a while.

Dave

Thanks guys! The point is only over one of the bolt holes. I was thinking it might be an alignment indicator. Making sure you put the brake rotor on in the same location, counting spokes etc...
