Has anyone done a three headlight set up? Something like this.

you'll want to keep the wattage under 100.
but you'll want to keep an eye on the battery to make sure it stays charged.

Yep. Maybe LED's for the "side lights". I like the look and it seems like the visibility factor in oncoming traffic might be better. I noticed that today when I was driving and saw a Hawg with a 3 light headlight in oncoming. I'm also wondering if anyone has done a retrofit or modification and has any suggestions for parts.

VS800, get the one that bolts to the lower triple tree using the headlight fasteners. Same headlight. Going to run you anywhere from $250-400 unless you find one in a boneyard.

I would add a headlight on/off switch to have them off when turning the bike over, and a voltmeter to keep an eye on things since our charging system isn't set up to sustain more then stock electric wise.

Someone recently posted a link to an LED voltage monitoring device. It looked easy & cheap to build & would be easy to mount.

I'm leery of putting anything LED or computer chipped on a bike in AZ. I've baked a couple watches and cell phones in the heat here leaving them in the sun in the summer. :P

I don't know if it is just me, but I have a little trouble with a bunch of lights on the front of a motorcycle. The reason is that the extra brightness seems to hide/mask the turn signals, making them harder to see. I like big, bright turn signals that are hard for other drivers to overlook.

The headlight on my Vulcan 800 is rubber mounted and tends to vibrate a bit, causing a it to appear to be flickering to oncoming drivers. I have not tried to stop the vibration because it is really does get one's attention. Kind of a poor man's modulator, but operating at a higher frequency than modulators. I generally don't drive a night so I don't notice it myself while riding.

Are my ideas just plain silly, or is there some merit to them.
