Title: Which Cam Chain Assembly Should I Get?
Post by ironhorseprop3 on 05/07/14 at 23:17:15

Hello All,

I recently purchased a 2000 Savage with 16k miles on it. After doing some research I found this website before I got the bike so I knew a few things had to be done. The bike had been sitting in the garage for a while and wouldn't start so I drained the oil and gas and bought a new battery and it runs but has the dreaded loose cam chain noise so I drained the oil again and the tensioner had come out 23mm. I was wondering if I should go back with the OEM cam chain assembly or go with the versy adjuster I've read so much about. Also, how would one go about getting a versy adjuster.

Thank You,
Chris

I dont get a dime from Versy, BUT,, IMO, there are 2 mods that NEED done,, The Raptor p/thingy & the Versy tensioner. Dependability & dependability,,& savibg money on a chain.
PM Versloagen,, He'll tell ya to send yer first born & any virginal daughters over 17,., If your wife has a bass boat, send a pic of the boat. Mak sure ti=o send a lot of good tackle,,

Yu DO want him busy fishing, dont You?
