Title: Superman
Post by RatdogWillie on 05/02/14 at 06:41:48

I was born in January 1952 and Superman was already an icon. Although my family did not get a television set until I was 14, I have childhood memories of visiting with neighbors and family and watching the "Adventures of Superman" starring George Reeves in beautiful black and white. As a child, I also had an extensive Superman comic book collection that my mother threw away while I was in the Navy.

I believe that the ethics of the Superman character and the well meaning slogan, "Truth, Justice and the American Way" probably had some influence on who I am today.

I stumbled across this interesting article and thought I should share it.

Buncha stuff I had no idea about,, except the level of fishiness of that suicide.. Ive read some about that,.Its enough to leave a guy wondering "Did he or didnt he?". Not enough to come to a solid conclusion,.Thats one difficult thing,, finding ones self in a position that makes it impossible to actually have a solid opinion on something.,.
