Title: Hear them ROAR - the banksters that is

So... I guess 2008 just wasn't bad enough. The current situation isn't bad enough. Nope... banksters OWN Washington... they they don't really care who knows nor do they fear anyone on the planet.

The 5-4 ruling eliminated limits on how much money people can donate in total in one election season.

However, the decision left intact the current $5,200 limit on how much an individual can give to any single candidate during a two-year election cycle. Until now, an individual donor could give up to $123,200 per cycle.

The ruling means a wealthy liberal or conservative donor can give as much money as desired to federal election candidates across the country, as long as no candidate receives more than the $5,200 cap.

NOW.
The way this was explained to me:
Should there be limits on free speech?
Money is the deciding factor.
There will always be some with more money than others but should there be a limit?

This was then compared to the 2nd amendment...
A poor person can buy one gun.
A rich person can buy fifty guns.
But there are still reasonable limits... neither can purchase a tank.
So they are free to exercise those rights (Unless you live in CT or CA)

The solution that was presented to me after this analogy:
Set up a portion of taxes to pay the second candidate with.

One politician goes out campaigning and earns 50,000 dollars.
The other one doesn't campaign but is awarded an equal 50,000 dollars.
Level the playing field.

Inequality has always existed. Legislation to affect outcome is ridiculous. Equal Opportunity is what a decent society offers. We have been conned into trying to legislate equal outcomes for people. Thats insane,,some people dont Want what others want, some arent smart enough to win the game, some, too lazy, some, ill.
The politics game isnt gonna stop sucking just because the way we donate has been messed with,, Until the media becomes a watchdog for the people & the media know the difference between right & wrong they wont PUSH the decent ones, theyll cut their throats. You watch what gets done to Rand Paul & all those in his camp by the media.

the "media" is just another name for NYC... I was born there, nothing else good came from there  :P

no seriously, I am a libertarian, dislike dems & repubs.. my country is way past bankruptcy and sinking like a rock. The bankers are just waiting to flee like rats from a sinking ship
