How much slack is in the cable? How far can you EFfortlessly move the lever? Sounds like it may be so slack youre not disengaging the clutch. Or maybe the cable is about to break?

sounds like your idle speed is too low

it has a tendency to drop below idle after a good run.

Do you have the stock petcock? Sounds like starving for fuel. Try setting your idle higher too. When I got mine back from a mechanic he had set the idle really low to try to mimic the Harley thumpthump and it would die coming to a stop. Cranked the idle up, no problems....

Great! Now it even starts without me having to twist the throttle to get it running! How can I adjust the air-fuel mixture so that it can run slightly richer?

its not the clutch when i got the bike the clutch lever wouldnt go all the way up so i adjusted the cable by the lever its perfect now. It was the idling screw because it was idling at around 500-800 rpm much to slow. the bike is a higher idler at around 2000 RPM.

PLease explain how the clutch is adjusted.. You SAY its "perfect" yet, there are problems. So, How MUCH free play is there in the clutch lever?

2000 is a little high for idle, but ok if you're not sitting at lights forever.
1200 to 1500 would be better.  idle speed does increase when it's hot.

open the link below (tech section index) go down to carbs, find 'bots guide for tuning.

I know its not the clutch. You pull it and the clutch is on NO FREE PLAY! its not the clutch the problem was idling so the clutch is perfect and there are problems BECAUSE THE CLUTCH WASNT THE ISSUE

No throttle is needed, just use of the enricher pull. Give us the big picture,  what mods have been done to the bike SuzukiSavvy?   :)

I havent done any mods to the all ready sporty looking cruiser, other than take saddle bags off! I have adjusted the shocks to the lowest setting so they are softer (not by much tho lol). The problem was there was duct tape covering the overflow tube under the seat. Didn't even have to turn up the idle it works great now!

did you guys hear that toyoda's were being recalled due to spiders?
turns out the dern things were nesting in the gas tank vents.

so next time someone has an issue with idling well say check your vents for spiders?
