Title: Mustache Highway Bars any good? Post by wickedbiker on 04/16/14 at 06:57:19 Do you guys have experience with using a mustache style highway pegs and how do you like em? Sooner or later I plan on some highway pegs and considering the crash bar really isn't a need as well as a big bulky peice (I'm going for an old school chop) I'm thinking this is the way to go. Do you guys know where to find these exact bars? http://databikes.com/imgs/a/c/a/b/t/suzuki__ls_650_savage_1987_1_lgw.jpg |

Post by old_rider on 04/16/14 at 09:53:15 I had some similar on my vtx... they was cheaply made and attached to each side (not a whole unit) so they were a bit wobbly. Comfort wise it was nice to put the feet up now and then on a longer trip and to change foot positions on shorter ones. They are not designed to protect the bike on a fall, but who cares.... need to stretch out a bit now and then. I have seen a few folks weld a plate to a set of bicycle bars and make that work, or even bike bars... :) |
