Title: Savage brat Post by miczem on 04/15/14 at 01:40:08 Pics of my "finished" brat, bobber, "zultan56" savage This is my first build and im looking forward to ride around this summer! Should have some blinkers, and the exhaust is cool to look at, but loud and its fouling the right shock... But for now i feel finished! Michael |

Title: Re: pics of the zultan and savage brat Post by S-P on 04/15/14 at 07:46:31 Very cool! I love the exhaust, but yeah, it looks like it would be hard on the shock. Maybe add a slight turn out? |
Title: Re: pics of the zultan and savage brat Post by miczem on 04/15/14 at 08:31:11 Thanks man. yeah, the muffler is welded to the header, so finding a turn out muffler is an idea! Also i would like a fatter rear tyre, but not up for the work on going bigger than 150..maybe next year tough :) |

Title: Re: pics of the zultan and savage brat Post by Michael L on 04/15/14 at 12:04:02 Great build ! But I don't understand how it's hard on the shock...? Another thing, doesn't it burn your leg? I like both the seat and the handlebars, but I don't think they match too well with leaning forward, while having a back rest.. But nice job you did.. |
Title: Re: pics of the zultan and savage brat Post by stinger on 04/15/14 at 12:47:30 That exhaust is going to cook your leg. Love your bike but that exhaust is scary. |
Title: Re: pics of the zultan and savage brat Post by blueknight on 04/15/14 at 15:20:22 that seat kicked up like that looks badass. where did you get the head pipe from? |
Title: Re: pics of the zultan and savage brat Post by old_rider on 04/15/14 at 16:19:28 Wouldn't happen to have any pics of the seat back extension would you? I will do something similar with mine next down season.... |
Title: Re: Savage brat Post by miczem on 04/26/14 at 11:39:10 yes the exhaust is hot. burnt a pair of my pants while riding. Ill se what ill do about it. I dont have any pictures of it, but what we did was: bend a pipe and cut it in half with an angle on both sides to get a sharper angle on the top then welded it toghether, then to the bike. then made a seat from an aluminium plate. its fastened to the tank mount and to the loop. The up bent seat is ment to workt as a fender. so my panties dont get wet... :) header is from ryca |

Title: Re: Savage brat Post by JDK on 05/07/14 at 22:44:35 Nice looking Brat. Not familiar with the term, but I like the looks of your bike. |
Title: Re: Savage brat Post by strang on 05/08/14 at 12:20:23 looks good! what did you do modifications wise to the stance? is it lowered or are the forks stock? Is the back wheel just stock? |
Title: Re: Savage brat Post by nickthe_human on 05/09/14 at 07:57:36 JDK, check out bratstyle.com or just do a google search of brat bikes, bratstyle bikes, etc. some really cool looking bikes out there. A lot of SR400 and 500s done. Go thumpers! ;D |
Title: Re: Savage brat Post by WD on 05/09/14 at 08:52:55 Sky is the limit on brat style builds. Even the Japanese shop that came up with the look does build other styles. Here's my friend from another forum's brat/tracker SR500... |
Title: Re: Savage brat Post by WD on 05/09/14 at 08:54:10 Better view... |
Title: Re: Savage brat Post by old_rider on 05/09/14 at 13:14:27 Can you have the kid move out of the way so I can see the bike?..... ;D ;D |
Title: Re: Savage brat Post by gizzo on 05/09/14 at 16:15:57 Just looks like an SR with it's top..errr, fender taken off. Any other changes? |
Title: Re: Savage brat Post by WD on 05/09/14 at 19:55:19 Seat, tail piece, electrical box all modified. Girl is more interesting than the bike... ;D |
Title: Re: Savage brat Post by mtlsir on 05/10/14 at 18:55:11 really nice brat miczem, what size hoop you had use? |
Title: Re: Savage brat Post by paulmarshall on 05/10/14 at 19:27:11 Looks cool. ;) |
Title: Re: Savage brat Post by miczem on 05/18/14 at 23:59:45 Hey. Thanks! Its lowered 2" in the front and the rear wheel is stock. I would like it to be a bit bigger, but think i need a break and to ride it to get the motivation ;) mtlsir: I dont know what you mean with hoop, if it is the loop behind the seat we made it ourself from a pipe. Bent, cut, and welded it back with an slight angle. painted the tank black now, and will do something different with the batterybox.. I will come back with some better pictures when its all done. |
