Looks great, well done.

Does that KN add much to the performance?

Nice work! I like the K&N. How hard was it to install? I assume you had to remove the existing airbox.

Brutal, powerful, but elegant looking bike and the stock speedo doesn't look out of place. This has good lines, although I would respectfully suggest a fork brace

I didnt have to make any changes to the airbox or batterybox. Used a 90 degre siliconelbow that fits to the carb. It is rather tight fit, but it works. Mine has reduction in size to fit the airfilter.
This site has a lot to choose from: http://www.do88.se/sv/artiklar/silikonslang-_-slang/silikonslang-svart/index.html

Hard to say, but i dont think it ads so much power. Mostly for the looks and sound.

Tack!

In the front of the seat it is mounted to the bolts that holds the tank. In the rear of the seat i have put rubber cushions that i found for car exhaust systems. And they just rest against the frame.

Henrik,
Nice ride with great lines.  I went to your link for the elbow for in cargo but it wasn't in english.  However, i have seen on Ryca motors web site that they have a 90 degree elbow that is probably the same, for anyone else interested.  I'm thinking of using one and a K&N cone.  Right now just pouring over the forum for ideas.

What is the model of that k&n Filter? I have been looking for exactly that type of style on the side. ;D

Very nice looking bobber.

JDK, search Amazon for the elbows. I was thinking of doing this a while back and found some on there for $10-15. Same with cone filters, some around $7.

Chanman, the K&N is RC-0650, Ryca sells them, as well as a copy for $20 plus shipping http://shop.rycamotors.com/air_filter_2.html and to place it coming out the side you will need an elbow as well.

Nice job! I like the forward controls.  Where did you find those?

Title: Re: Bobber project almost done :)
Post by Henrik on 05/15/14 at 05:15:01

Dont know about the forward controlls because they were installed by the previous owner. Othervise the bike was stock before i started to build it
into a bobber.
