I am cleaning my bike as of right now and i need to get the saddle bags off and i bought the 1998 with the bags on. How do i remove the back seat to take them off?

Dynamite? Srry bud, i'm no help my bike is all bobbed out. Actually now that I think about it the technical section may have instruction.
also i believe you can search on any motorcycle dealership's computer stuff... like when go into the parts dept and say "hey man, I need this widget?" And they pull up a schematic.... I believe there is a way for you to search for that schematic on your home computer.

Take the front seat off (one bolt on each side below the front seat, somewhat angled backward). Then, the back seat bolt which goes through a white bit of plastic is visible. Loosen the bolt, slide the leather passenger grip forward, and then slide the back seat forward until it comes loose.

Remove the front seat... (there's a single bolt under the front one, that holds the back one)...

2 bolts hold the front... one on each side towards the rear, near the shocks. 10mm...

Exactly ya jst what i was gonna say, with the front bolts in the thing in the flying backwards and no...no i have no idea.
