Title: Right front turning sig only works in blink mode Post by adoyle3 on 04/06/14 at 21:05:38 While driving at night, I notice that my front left turn signal is  on and front right turn signal is off when driving normally.   I thought this was a problem with the bulb, but when I switch to 'right hand turn signal' control, then the previously dark bulb began blinking. This leads me to conclude there is a wiring issue.  Strange bulb outputs when in blink but not in steady state mode.  Which leads me to believe it is some wiring issue closer to the switch? Please let me know if I'm headed in the right direction.  FYI on my mechanical experience: I just changed my front brake pads last week and flushed the brake fluid this Saturday.  Next project is the right hand turn signal steady state issue and then I will do an oil change in 400 miles.

Title: Re: Right front turning sig only works in blink mo Post by old_rider on 04/06/14 at 21:09:06 The bulbs are dual elements, one for running light and one for blinking... the run element is burnt out. Your back bulbs are single element only for blinking.

I changed the bulb and am still having the same issue. The running light does not turn on but it works when I use the turn signal. Any other diagnoses for this issue?

Broken or disconnected power wire.  The wire connects to the running light circuit in the headlight housing.
