I can't imagine why they would want to rid the historical significance in doing so, yes, its an ugly past, but so are many battlefields, and other locations where heartache plays a very important part of remembrance.... |

Some things should be left alone,, if something came along that was just super important that would be a real benefit to the city,, maybe,, but to play baseball? Really? Chasing the almighty dollar that way just isnt okay, IMO. & yea, jobs, during construction,, big Whoop... when its built it will be just another tax burden for maintenance,.The owners will get waivers & not pay taxes & the very people who they SAY will benefit will be on the hook, wait & see.. I hope it gets tossed aside,, |

Every historical site or place or thing that is a part of the rich heritage of this country should be preserved for future generations. Did you know that we once came very close to having some big international amusement park built at Gettysburg? |
