hi fellows, im asking about mufflers, i want to rip it out fromm my savage and let the bike without it, just the pipe from the head cylinder, also i've seen pipes with some kind of tape, can you redirect my post? or teach me about it, greetings from mexico :)

Just a word of warning -- an open pipe will be hard to jet correctly.

The stuff of the header pipe is exhaust wrap. Nice, expensive, I couldn't ever get it to last long.

Try a couple searches for exhaust and or dyna.

you won't be happy with a dyna exhaust if you want loud

Get something more open or get a dyna exhaust and drill it more open

I like the sound of the dyna but it could be a bit louder. The bike loves the mod though - cheap extra horses :)
