May be getting another "bikelet", should know by Friday at the latest. Black 2003 LS650. No oddball mods "needed" other than a seat change and maybe a windscreen. Oh, and a muffler swap, still has the stock one on it.

Still tinkering with the full custom cream/orange 98, and it is still being its usual stubborn self. Misplaced a few parts and can't find my wiring diagram to run the last couple connections.

Hope you get it and enjoy it. The "mods" can perhaps wait until you sort your custom one.

Cool! I've gotten the bug and have to stay off craigslist so I won't see any Savages... the Wifey says I can only ride one. ;)

Considering that mine has been down since very early 2011, and isn't going back together w/o massive fights, and I can't afford to keep driving the Ranger to work...

If, and it is still an if, it happens, this one will be mostly stock. But, there will be 5 motorcycles on the place again. 3 Suzukis, 1 Honda, 1 Kawasaki.

glad to hear it....

for a while I had 3 bikes, wife got pissed, now just the s40 remains... almost kept the v-star 650 but the s40 is pleasantly lighter

Unless something drastic changes, it will be here sometime next week, at the latest the week after. Funky work schedule, and the bike is several hours away.

Have to coordinate how it is getting here. No worries, I know the seller...

Got mine locally, glad to hear that you found one "group locally" too :) I believe it was the one I was going to purchase if the one here where I live fell through.... good for you both :)

congrats on a ride-able bike! getting tired of working on a stubborn machine is what prompted me to get my savage. and boy and am I glad I did.
