Title: what is this pipe - I want it Post by strang on 04/02/14 at 13:22:15 Obviously the header is custom but what about the muffler? is it an off the shelf shorty or custom? love this bike. Suzuki hello.... |
Title: Re: what is this pipe - I want it Post by verslagen1 on 04/02/14 at 13:25:56 that's a gr400 or 650 tempter pipe is most likely a custom scrambler style. check ryca, they have 1 that comes out the left side. http://www.rycamotors.com/models%20images/cstracker-02.jpg |
Title: Re: what is this pipe - I want it Post by WD on 04/02/14 at 19:03:09 That is a 400 Tempter. Full custom, with a lot of unique parts. And I want it, man oh man, do I want that bike. |

Title: Re: what is this pipe - I want it Post by strang on 04/03/14 at 01:55:19 Yeh I thought it was a very slim can but now you make me look at it, it's just a straight pipe done real subtle, tapered outlet very smart. I've read the tuning section and it basically says straight pipes are a bit of a no no performance wise on the savage - is there any easy way to create good back pressure and keep straight the pipe look. ST400 - Is it a Japan only model? can't find much info. Suzuki would sell loads of these. |
Title: Re: what is this pipe - I want it Post by ToesNose on 04/03/14 at 04:08:59 There are baffle inserts that you can integrate into a straight pipe for added performance/tweaking. Who knows you might even be able to install one a few inches in and then tapper the outlet like on the one pictured. |
