hi man maybe u r the right guy to ask, i orderd the silicone elbow + a filter+mounting to the carb. Does it work like that or do i get a problem with the compression?
Or if i need to do any other mods to the filter?

Your proposed change has nothing to do with compression or the compression release.

Changing the intake and filter may have a slight effect on performance and the jetting. I can't see what you have for a muffler - but generally open pipes and cone filters require a step up in jet sizes.

OK....I give up. What does that green metal thing with the black hose that is hanging on the door do? Engine preheater?
