Finished off the first of my two Savages today (got given a second as spares with the one I bought).

A quick before and after shot!!

Found that after it started first time, it wouldn't then subsequently start again!?!?!
Checked the spark, nice and strong, it has fresh fuel, decomp working properly, and turns over, just doesn't fire. Hoping a good charge overnight will sort it!!!

Onto the second!!!!

Still not starting. Turning over, but not starting. Going to change the battery, and spark plug both for new ones, as I don't know the history of both, but the battery is supposedly holding a charge!?!

Quite the transformation with just paint, exhaust wrap & tires.

You've got what appears to be a very skilled painter as well, very nicely done. 8-)

Did you go to the MX tires just for the appearance, or something more?

Took some getting used too I must admit, but seem fine.

They are road legal enduro tyres, so shouldn't be too bad

I've been looking into paint on whitewalls. Could I pick your brain as to what product you used and how difficult was the application. I'll be painting my wheels red this weekend and wanted to finish it off with some whitewalls. My shinko's are to new to replace so I just decided to go the painted on whitewall route. Any info would be appreciated.

I'll end up needing tires before the years passed so it wouldn't be but for maybe 6 or 7 months before I bought the shinko wide whitewall tires. I'm painting the wheels red this weekend and was gonna do the tires at the same time.
