I used one of these to adjust my shocks:

It was much easier than trying to use a screwdriver, clamped on end in the vise, put the strap around the chrome cover and twisted it where I wanted it. I think it would have worked on the bike just as well. Mods can move it if this needs to go somewhere else. Do I get a free T shirt now?

Can you tell I am pretty proud of myself?  ;)

That is an excellent idea. I even have a couple of those straps in the tool chest.
