Title: Re: First & Dies Post by justin_o_guy2 on 03/16/14 at 09:36:41 Its not weird to start it up, stand it up, pop it in first & then kick the stand up, it just wont let you do it that way,, |
Title: Re: First & Dies Post by Loud3r on 03/16/14 at 14:31:45 Removed my switch and jumped, most annoying thing ever having to have the kickstand up to start the bike. Getting rid of the clutch start safety too. |
Title: Re: First & Dies Post by Dave on 03/16/14 at 17:35:48 I always get on the bike, then first put the kick stand up, turn on the key and fuel petcock, set the fuel enrichment....then hit the starter. I learned to do this before they started putting the safety equipment on, and it is now a routine. Remembering to put the kick stand up is very important.....get in a habit of doing it before you put the bike in gear.....or better yet even before you start the bike. |
