Title: idle rpm question Post by Kirill Timofeev on 03/09/14 at 10:36:20 From what I read here looks like low idle rpms are bad since engine doesn't have enough oil. What is downside of having high idle rpm above 1100? |

Title: Re: idle rpm question Post by justin_o_guy2 on 03/09/14 at 16:52:28 Aside from burning more gas at a stop light youll see that trying to walk it thru a parking lot will mean using the clutch a lot more than is fun. My cold engine idle speed wasnt good enough, even once it was time to ditch the choke. I had to raise the idle & as it warmed up I could drop it back down. Usually took about 15 minutes to get it all the way up & stable. |
