I've spent a while trawling through the info on here, and the builds, but can't seem to find the answer to this:

If I convert my decomp to a manual 'thumb' lever (handlebar mounted), what modifications need to be done to the wiring loom to remove the controller...............and still have everything else work? :)

I'm not a thicky when it comes to electrics, and wiring diagrams, but am unsure and would like some guidance from a mind greater than mine!!

Seen that, thanks buddy, but it doesn't cover what actually needs to be done to the loom

Then go to the RYCA website, or to their YouTube videos. They disable the compression release and walk you through the process.

Hey up Clive, Ive been looking at that as well and I found a wiring diag on here but I'll be buggered if I can find it again, it consists of putting a jumper across two wires and cutting the other wires to the decomp controller - the diagram is at me mates so if you want I'll post it on this thread for you later or tomorrow ( unless someone on here knows where it is and you find out sooner ) cheers p.s. hope the disc gets there soon :) found it http://s258.photobucket.com/user/Gyrobob_theOriginal/media/Motorcycle/RYCA%20CS-1%20LS650%20S40%20Savage/LS650decompcontrlrjumper01a.jpg.html

Thanks for that, just need to find a nice thumb lever to mount on the bars, and this'll be getting done!!
