Title: Trip Stickey
Post by pgambr on 02/19/14 at 23:15:17

I have a thought about something that I think could be a fine addition to the forum.  Perhaps this was already tried, but worthy of putting up the suggestion.  How about a trip table here in the cafe section where folks can put up some pics of trips regardless of the length (not that trip ;D), bike shows, things of that nature.  With spring around the corner I'm sure we will go and see some really cool places.   8-)

I dont have much to say either way, on it being a stickey, but I Do wunner why not just let those who have something to post ,post it & let it run its course..

I can see value in it, but really, trips come and they go, sorta like bike builds.
It depends on the author to add in key words so they can be found again.

If the title said... "Trip: Bob's Cafe, Hwy 39, CA" you could search for "trip" and find it again.  Or you can search for "CA" and get all the CA trips.
But if the title says... "ride" or "trip" or "visit" or... what do you search for?
You can change the search engine to find "any word" rather than "all words"

So you could list all the keywords together "trip ride visit CA" and find all rides in CA.  also select 1 hit per thread cause you'll get a lot of hits.

This has been another versy search voodoo lesson.

Just a thought, evidently not really well received.  No worries. ;)
