Here is something I've wondered about. Why did so many heads of state take pictures with their across their chest like it is in a pocket? Not a good picture, but here is Stalin.

Good observation. I think he was the head of Stalin's NKVD (the predecessor to KGB). At some point he wasn't trusted and was executed. :o

I think it was a lice problem.
