Not sure that any motorycle deserves to be treated like that.....even a Harley deserves a chance to be ridden into the ground.....not buried in it!

Like a pharoh or old indian chief... taking his ride to the grave with him. I think I will divvy mine out to those folks I like.... unless momma needs the cash, then she can sell them if she wants.
An old biker here in the area passed last year (might have been two)  and left his bike to his son, who has not changed a thing on it... needs paint, a seat repair, a blinker is taped on.
Its a nice old vintage Harley, but his son is not going to change a thing on it. The old guy rode in tons of rides down here and was well known, his son is kinda busy but rides in a few now and then... when he does a lot of older bikers still see it and remember "piggyman". Yup... almost brings a tear to my eye when I see that bike... he was a hell raiser in his youth and a no nonsense type good guy as an old fart... I will try to be like him.

Eva and I have no kids to leave anything to but dang if I can see doing what this guy did. We've talked about leaving our estate(if there is anything of value left when we die)to one of the dog rescue groups like the National Brittany Rescue and Adoption. Might leave my scooter gear to Kentucky Biker Assn. to be raffled off and proceeds put into a fund for medical or burial expenses for riders that are on hard times. Either way,I can't see having my scooter put in the ground with me if it might help someone else when I'm done with it.

I wonder how long it will be before someone digs him up and steals his bike?
