Title: Bike got hit...
Post by WD on 02/04/14 at 17:18:44

Not even finished putting it back together. Idiot neighbor backed into it with a one ton dually, and drove away. He was dropping off my father in law and neither of them noticed the truck hit the bike, or spin it on its work block.

Taillight proper is fine. Plate, plate mount and plate frame are bent. All I can tell via flashlight. Other than the customized saddlebag set got knocked off.

Was on the way out the door with a loaded .30/30 to put a round through his truck's engine. Lisa and Doug got me calmed down enough to wait until morning... if there is any further damage visible in the daylight, the neighbor himself WILL get shot...

If the bike still had a case of the stock "uglies" I wouldn't likely even care. But since the bike is an almost finished custom, with a few irreplaceable antique parts...

Since you're fairly new, the idiot backed into:

Just the fender and bags set is over $400, without paint or the hand stitched bag welting. Or the lights. Or the fender tip. Or the 1970s plate frame and plate skulls. Or the 1970s bag stays... etc.

Hardly worth shooting someone over, surely?

We've been at war with each other since 1998... I've wanted to put a round between his eyes since the very first time I met him. He's 2 legged fecal matter, an ex-prison counselor who got fired for sneaking contraband in to inmates.  Any piece of equipment he has borrowed (often w/o permission) from my father in law comes back destroyed. He's sent the police and county officials (from the wrong county no less) after us several times over "inappropriate behavior" that he would have to be trespassing to see... His tenant has a couple junior high age children who he is always sniffing around after like a bull chasing a heifer in season...

The entire neighborhood wants him dead.

He's a felon, a leech, and a s**t stirring probable pedophile/pederast... I'd likely get a medal. Around here, killing him would go in the books as DSAF, Did Society A Favor.

Even his wife thinks he's a waste of DNA.

Easy fix, maybe $50 in damage.

I still want to put a round through him...  >:(

Make a couple of spike strips and leave 'm where no car should go near the bikes for next time.

Hey, if no one likes him, how come he's dropping off your father in law?

I have a real hard time believing you would leave that bike in a place that would stand even a remote chance of someone hitting it,, YOu have lots of room, & you know the neighbor is a ___________ ( you pick the word). Im curious to know just how far into your property he had to go to hit it,
