Title: Tool Box Question Post by HAPPYDAN on 01/28/14 at 12:39:42 Okay, you all know I'm a fan of the S40, a few simple mods and it's my favorite vehicle. BUT - THE TOOL BOX SUCKS!!! It's hard to open, harder to close, the gasket falls off, the tools don't all fit, etc. So does anyone have a suggestion (good or bad) for a decent looking, workable alternative? :-? |
Title: Re: Tool Box Question Post by pgambr on 01/28/14 at 13:56:03 This is what I have done and it has worked out well. This is a wolfman motorcycle dry bag. I put together a pretty inclusive kit and rain suit. This is high quality stuff, I use it on my KLR as well. Their is a pic with it on my s40 on the thread. http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1384282006 http://www.wolfmanluggage.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&product_id=112 |
Title: Re: Tool Box Question Post by arteacher on 01/29/14 at 06:38:15 My solution: http://p1.bikepics.com/2012/04/23/bikepics-2389245-full.jpg It is large enough for anything I would want to do on the road. I use the stock tool box to put my wallet and watch in when I take the bike to the lake to go for a swim. |
