Title: Riding to the Top of the World - in the winter !!! Post by mpescatori on 01/08/14 at 09:47:31 Get a load of THIS ! [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtgUm-3EXmY[/media] (Language is a mix of German and English but makes perfect sense) :o I'll probably be riding the same route... next August ! ;) PS Norway's NordKapp coordinates are 71°10[ch8242]21[ch8243]N 25°47[ch8242]40[ch8243]E so that's pret-t-ty high up North... Barrow, Alaska is 71°16[ch8242]23[ch8243]N 156°48[ch8242]38[ch8243]W, so it's even higher up :o but it's harder to get there... |

Well, the Brits would call it "5-star"... We have Shell Optimax (local name, Shell V-Power) and AGIP BluSuper, they are both rated "Street-legal racing fuel" BMW recommends 98-100 octane fuel for its "M-class" GTs and all 4-valve flat-twin motorcycles. I don't really feed the Savage 103-octane, but it's a nice signature item 8-) |

Title: Re: Riding to the Top of the World - in the winter Post by Dave on 01/09/14 at 03:53:37 It was cold in my office this morning as I watched the first video.....it seemed even colder in here while watching the video. I am just not adventurous enough to do that.......but respect those who are. It would be impossible for me to survive that kind of cold. On the last two videos - both roads looked like they would be lots of fun. They were all good videos.....and I preferred listening to the engine sound......rather than music. |
