Title: Slipstreamer SS-20 Windshield Post by scuba2 on 01/03/14 at 12:04:29 I received one for Christmas from a friend who thought I might like it and I’m just curious if anyone has this installed and how they like it. I have a 2012 and it looks like this shield would be a nice fit. However, from the looks of the mounting instructions, there’s no room on the handle bars to mount the clamps. I hope to have some time to look at it more this weekend, but was just posting this to see if anyone has had any experience with this. Thanks! A lot of good stuff on this site! |

Title: Re: Slipstreamer SS-20 Windshield Post by raydawg on 01/03/14 at 17:44:23 It will fit, I have one on mine and love it.... You will however need to modify the bottom sides as it will hit the turn indicators. |
Title: Re: Slipstreamer SS-20 Windshield Post by pgambr on 01/03/14 at 17:51:18 Does it really block the wind as much as I imagine it would? Their web site says 14 x 30. It gets a bit old getting beat up by the wind. |

Title: Re: Slipstreamer SS-20 Windshield Post by old_rider on 01/04/14 at 16:42:30 I had got the SS-Hellfire it worked out really good. I too would like to see how the stealth one looks installed as it has four "arms" rather than two arms and two brackets like the hellfire. |

OK, I have this finally installed but have not road tested it. Probably won't get to this weekend due to it being too stormy here. Will try and get some pictures and post them though. Looks pretty nice. Did not have a problem with turn indicators as mentioned from "raydawg". |
Title: Re: Slipstreamer SS-20 Windshield Post by onejug on 01/10/14 at 12:17:42 I just received mine. What year of bike do you have. Mine is a 2003 and I'm hoping I don't have to modify it. |

Title: Re: Slipstreamer SS-20 Windshield Post by raydawg on 01/11/14 at 07:15:28 I am sorry, I misspoke, I have a very similar wind screen, a Spirit ( I think :-? ) which is a tad larger, more square across the top, and is /was longer on the fairing below, why I had to trim off about 4 inches....BUT, I do love it and it protects me greatly, even tho I love riding it in summer without, I always put it back on early as those big old bad arse bugs we have up here hurt the face somtin awful >:( Oh....here it is http://www.leatherup.com/p/Cruiser-Motorcycle-Windshield-Hardware/Slip-Streamer-Enterprise-S-00-Windshield-for-1968-2008-Honda-Motorcycles/177907.html |
Title: Re: Slipstreamer SS-20 Windshield Post by scuba2 on 01/13/14 at 22:07:14 I have a few pictures, but they don't seem to want to load. Just get an "x" where the picture should be. I'm sure it's operator error. Not a fan of Windows 8 just yet. Sorry. I can email them if you want them. http://C:\Users\Janice\Pictures\S40\F1.jpg |

Title: Re: Slipstreamer SS-20 Windshield Post by pgambr on 01/14/14 at 15:12:48 I like that, thanks for posting. |
Title: Re: Slipstreamer SS-20 Windshield Post by scuba2 on 01/14/14 at 15:32:10 Works well too! Definitely keeps the wind off your hands and chest. Used my summer gloves on a 38 degree morning drive to work. Wouldn't do that a long trip, but was fine for my commute. |
