Hi, here is the new header for my 1997 Savage. Stainless steel in 42mm tube - 38mm inside. Looks great and still need a pipe with 2" dia at the lower end. Get it welded by a friend, because i never liked the original double tube.

Nice. I am looking for a new header myself. Where did you pick that one up? I cannot buy new. Too much money you know. Thanks

Hi, you need somebody WHO is welding and tubebending perfektly. The bike has to stay at the workshop for Measurement and fitting. The 2" end is to not damage the tube from muffler clamps

Did you include the reverse pulse dam around the perimeter? Mite not need it with the increased inside diameter, IDK,,
