You have verified that your company is targeting middle-aged women with questionable tastes. I've seen Michael Bolton lately on a few TV shows. Each time he was basically parodying himself. These commercials appear to be just a continuation. |

I watch DVD's of my choice and the advertisers budget is wasted on me. I listen to public broadcast radio for quite effective news and the radio advertisers budget is wasted on me. According to the internet tv is one of nine things that will disappear in our lifetime. |

Then the endless swarm of Honda commercials on TV and radio. In a way, it appears he's cashing in on his cheese factor. However, to a point made earlier, Honda seems to be appealing to the "thirty-something moms" in the commercials. However, thirty-somethings (my generation) were kids 20+ years ago when Michael Bolton was "relevant." My mom listened to that crap. We HATED Michael Bolton. So do women naturally start to like Michael Bolton after they pop out a kid, or should Honda really be appealing to the 50-60-somethings who liked him in the first place? No answer required. That was a rhetorical question/rant. ;D |
