Post by ToesNose on 12/16/13 at 11:31:10 Started the task of getting permits for a pergola back in July, due to municipal cluelessness and having time to follow up on such cluelessness I finally got the permits the last week of September. Since then I've been working full time and just about any given day I have free time it's been freezing cold, raining or something has come up. Finally get to start on the ledger board today! Get my measurements finalized, marked out and get everything I need in order. Get up on the ladder 10 feet up and start to cut the hardi-plank................about 6 inches in my Skill saw dies. SIGH. :-? |

Post by old_rider on 12/17/13 at 20:04:28 Yup, been there done that... was trimming some bushes around our old house up north and talking to the wife about proper use and cutting directions when all of a sudden the electric brush trimmer stopped working, and not thirty seconds before in my safety brief I had warned her about keeping an eye out for the cord..... She laughed sooooo hard... I just shook my head and unplugged it and headed for the garage and some electric tape. |
