Title: king&queen again
Post by wambr on 12/14/13 at 03:15:06

Hi again guys ! stuck in my head pain... I want to put the  king and queen seat. I searched about it on the forum... where something happened recently, but I have not found. and because I want to ask: who installed on Savage these seats(this is Harley FXSTC seat) ? how to fit they are? how it looks together?

I believe it was Nickeynicknick that did a king/queen seat that came out looking pretty good. Look up his posts...might find it. :)

Here it is... give nickeynicknick a pm i'm sure he would share how he mounted his.

Well,, Ive seen some of the bikes & the people you run around with. Im pretty sure between the bunch of you, someone can figure out a nice looking, strong but not too heavy approach. For starters, take the seat off the bike & set the Kings seat, then ( Id block the bike as close to straigh up as possible) have the Queen hold her seat ( Hmm,, okay,,you know what I mean)anyway, have her hold the seat in place. YOU eyeball & measure a sissy bar installation to mount support structure to. Figure on filling the gap from fender to under the seat sides with light tin panels. YOu mite even wind up with some small stuff storage up under all that.

Okay, thats my best "gettin started" on a project like that. I hope that helped a little,

thank you Justin!your tips are effective.
however my "Queen" sometimes I have different sizes..( you know what I mean), so I need to experiment more than once.(it's joke) :)
and there is one "but".. I don't know the dimensions of the seat. although I will start. as we Russians say "eyes are fear, but hands do it"
