Hey Wambr I'm a Door's lover too!  In my 20's in the early 90's I went to  Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris just to visit his grave, had an awesome time and met quite a few interesting characters there to say the least LOL. Big beautiful graveyard with some very impressive monuments and gravestones.

Ray Manzarek passed away earlier this year, but John Densmore & Robby Krieger are looking to get back together for a project next year.   ;)

I am pleased that you are also a love their music. In early of 90 i was a student with "first of freedom breathe" and i was 18 years.
I several times today listened to their song "come on baby, light my fire" and " the end." and other.. sorry, that somehow messy wrote...thoughts were confused..

WOW !!! I feel old! I was a teenager in the late 1960s/early 1970s when those guys(The Doors) were one of the hot bands of the time. Jim Morrision, along with the likes of Janis Joplin,Jim Croce,Jimmie Hendrix and others helped define many of us from that era. It is a shame we lost them so young.

Always loved the Doors music.
Never get tired of listening to the music they created.
As an individual Jim Morrison never impressed me much.
He seemed like such an A-hole.
Jimi Hendrix on the other hand seemed so lovable and
more like the type of person I wanted to be.
That's my take anyway.

I saw the Doors in Toronto Sept of '69 at a three day concert in Varsity Stadium billed as a rock'n roll revival. The Plastic Ono band made a surprise appearance at the end of the concert. It was the first time they had ever played together.
All kinds of big names appeared. It was a mini Woodstock.
