Looks nice... the girl looks a bit washed out...

PS.. if you're selling this book,.. there may be copyright issues with those images...

No copyright issues will be encountered. I made sure to get images that were royalty free and free to use commercially. I researched for three days looking for such un-licensed images.

The girl is supposed to be washed out, she is a spirit.

After you mentioned it I could see the girl was kind of transparent. Is it too late to make her more so it is more obvious? It's cool you're writing a book. Is it on Amazon Kindle?

I probably could make her more transparent but quite frankly I am happy with how it turned out. With future covers I will definitely look into it if there is a spirit involved :) :)

I haven't published it yet, but I do intend to put it in both e-book and hopefully print on demand if I can. The manuscript is finished and I have edited it to within an inch of it's life. Right now I am researching and working out exactly how and when it will be available for purchase and download.

I have been writing stories since junior high and this is my first (I believe) publishable manuscript so I am still learning the ins and outs of the self-publishing biz.

you've given her a aura, which I think is pretty standard representation for a ghost/spirit.

Are previewing the story on the cover?

Is it mystery or just a tale?

Sorry to nit-pick, but the clouds are vertical looking.... makes it look like she is putting off steam...

Good luck on the E-book thing... saves tons on printing I've heard... puts more money in yer pocket.

I've a friend I used to work with who is now a published author... I'll talk with her and see how she went about it. Maybe might help, if you get a perspective of another new writer.

You're correct. I hadn't noticed that. But I think I'll leave it like that, it isn't too bad looking.

I believe that happened when I adjusted the proportions of the background image to the size I needed. I will definitely keep that side affect in mind with future covers.

It won't be long now. My book files are under review as we speak to be sure the formatting is correct to be available for sale on amazon.

Dang, this is the third time I had adjust my book cover file and submit it for review. Well, maybe third time will be the charm. Once I get the cover approved (it's the dimensions that are troubling me) it should be ready.

Well, third time was the charm alright.

All files have been reviewed and accepted. "Flight of Destiny will be available to purchase in ebook format by tomorrow I believe if I read the notification correctly with the print on demand version a few days later.

I will provide the link as soon as I have one. It may not be tomorrow when I provide the link because I will be very busy tomorrow out of the house.
