Hey guys, just got done with my project, started in september and just got done yesterday, well almost done still need to tinker with a few things and repaint the exhaust but took some pics today and went riding, even though its 30 degrees out, hope you guys like. let me know what you think.
-painted the frame, forks, controls/levers/ rear brake/and rear spindle with appliance epoxy, rattle canned the tank and fender with gloss black, clear coat and some meguires.
-early sportster tank
-white wall tire paint on the tires (stuff actually works pretty well)
-harley road king master cylinder
-head light from demon cycle
- o-ring grips and foot pegs
-lowbrow exhaust, cut 9 inches off it
-fabricated the battery box and electrical box myself
-14" frisco style bars, wires ran internally
-blue collar bobbers solo seat, made the mount outta angle iron
-k&n air filter
-sleek rear fender
-rigid struts

im working on my bob now, im glad to see yours where you paid attention to detail in refinishing every part.  It helps me see how things are going to look, and gives me some good ideas like going ahead and painting aluminum rather than just blast and polish.

That rear fender hugging the tire looks darn cool, with no strut.
Though might you be ignoring summer riding, the tire could grow a half inch and rub with the added heat and velocity.

Anyway very nice.

love it man, great job. Watch out for that front drive pulley though!

I really like how it turned out for you. Paid attention to lots of small details & it shows.  8-)

My concern would also be that rear fender, although it looks sweet how it's just hanging out there on it's own, be sure you keep in mind that this is a big single that vibrates quite a bit and as others have said before, you can watch it from the rear when it's running and see the fender shake from side to side a dramatic amount (just a warning - you might need to add some bracing)

I love it.  8-)

I was thinking the same thing about the rear fender too.  It might vibrate and rub at speed without braces.

Where are you in New Jersey?  I just moved to PA from there.

As someone else mentioned, that front drive pulley needs a custom cover. Once you come up with something make an extra for me.

Overall very nice job.

i see the HUGE potential for catastrophic results from pinching a pant leg between the pulley belt and stator cover, just because the line down the leg to the peg is too close.

my weld on tail will move the seat back and down leaving it even closer to the front sprocket.
I didn't want to either but we really should cover them.

I think you have a simple solution for the rear fender.
Just fab up struts an inch longer or so.  I guess thats an advantage to bolt on.

Narrrr, the pulley is fine. I been running no cover for a year and never got my pants anywhere near the pulley. Looks too cool without the cover, It's worth the miniscule risk. + 1 on the back mudguard, it's gonna fall off sooner or later. Nice build, well done.

Looks good. I like the fender that low, but i would have to brace it!!

Bdrums.

If u don't mind sharing the info. What kind of foot pegs are those installed?
And is there any modification needed or was a direct bolt on.

I am looking for one to install
. Thanks

hey, they foot pegs were attached to the highway bars that the guy who sold me the bike put on. i had to drill out the holes on the pegs a little but that was it they went right on. search o-ring foot pegs on ebay and they should come up or something similar.

hey man this is by far THE best representation of how this bike should be bobbed! I love it! Great job!

Since its been completed, how has the white wall paint held up? If it has held up good id consider buying the paint since its near impossible to find white walls for this bike
