Got a bad knock coming from right side of the case around the tensioner area. Haven't opened the case yet to see for sure. I replaced the cam chain and set my intake valves at .004 and exhaust at .006 about 1000miles ago. Engine was running great w a little bit of a tick but now it's a knock and bike won't start and idk y. Also I have air blowing out of carb instead of being sucked n. I checked the timing and it's still correct at tdc on compression stroke lobes are down. This wasn't progressive it all of sudden did this. Any ideas?

Blowing back out of carb is not a good sign. That would indicate the piston is coming up when the intake valves are open....rather than the piston going down when the intake valves are open.

If it happened all of the sudden.....something came loose or broke. I believe you need to take the head cover and right side case off to investigate what is wrong.

Sounds like chain slip, timing off.... cam tensioner broke? or came off?
