Title: Leaky forks Post by NCSUindy09 on 11/05/13 at 08:26:31 Hey guys. My forks are leaking a few drops per day. I plan on taking them apart and polishing the surface and replacing the seals. What kind of behavior can I expect from the forks as they lose more oil and when will it become unsafe? Thanks Ryan |

Title: Re: Leaky forks Post by verslagen1 on 11/05/13 at 08:46:14 There's some natural friction damping even with no oil as some have found out. So you probably won't notice even if it ran completely out of oil. There's a little do hicky like a credit card that you slip in between the fork and seal and run it around the tube. This clears out any bug parts as well as scrape the seal. |
